The Down Syndrome Association of the Upstate (DSAU) is a non-profit parent and volunteer-driven organization working to enrich the lives of people touched by Down syndrome. The DSAU has been in existence for 23 years with a Board of Directors of 15 members. We are the only group in the Upstate where an estimated 300+ families can turn for support, guidance, and networking. The more we raise awareness and promote acceptance, the brighter the future for our members!
We need your help!

World Down Syndrome Day
The DSAU board is currently soliciting names of individuals for nomination to the Board of Directors for the current term of 2020-2023.
We are looking for individuals who live in and are active in the upstate of SC and have a heart for serving individuals with Down syndrome.
Anyone in the community can apply. You don't have to have a child with Down syndrome to be on the Board of Directors. We have specific needs in the area of fundraising, membership, and communication. Although other opportunities are available as well. Nominations can be both from the DSAU membership as well as from outside of the organization. You are welcome to nominate yourself!
